The National Food Safety Standards require that all food businesses ensure their food handlers have the skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene for the work they do. This course is suitable for staff working in any food business. Senior First Aid Level 2 (HLTFA301B)

Senior First Aid (Level 2) is a course designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to provide emergency pre-hospital care, perform resuscitation, if required, and manage injury and/or illness until medical aid arrives.

Basic Life Support Level 1 (HLTFA201A)

Basic Life Support (Level 1) is a course designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to provide life saving emergency care in a pre-hospital setting, including performing CPR, if required, until medical aid arrives.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) (HLTCPR201A)

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a course designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to perform resuscitation, if required, until medical aid arrives.

Certificate IV in Disability (CHC40308)*

Are you working with people with disabilities or hoping to work in this area? Certificate IV in Disability is an entry level requirement for working with people with disabilities. This course provides students with a nationally accredited qualification that enables them to work in the disability services sector – a dynamic and growing industry that offers great job satisfaction and contributes to the empowerment of people with disabilities. Successful completion of this certificate qualifies graduates to seek employment in residential group homes, training resource centres and day respite centres. Students may be eligible for Centrelink payments.

Certificate II in Production Horticulture (RTE20603)*

Are you interested in working in horticulture, increasing your knowledge or getting recognition of current skills? This course is designed to develop your knowledge and skills to work in all areas of crop production. Students will be involved in a wide range of growing, establishing and harvesting tasks that may include: operating tractors and equipment, undertaking irrigation activities, treating weeds, pests and diseases. In addition to quarantine and chemical handling, students are provided with a practical and theoretical background in plant and soil science.

This course allows students to meet particular industry employment opportunities or their own career aspirations. Typical employment opportunities include Production/Process Worker, Nursery Hand, Packing Shed Supervisor, Field Supervisor, Harvest Supervisor and Section Supervisor. Students undertaking this course may be eligible for Centrelink payments.
