Strength Training for Women

This program has been designed to develop strength and muscles in mature adults while building mobility and flexibility. Warm ups, stretching and easy weights exercise, using our state of the art exercise bike and indoor rower. Book early.
Tutor: Penelope Wai
When: Tuesdays 11.00-12.00, 9 weeks starting 13th July
Cost: $100 for 1 class per week or $180 for 2 classes per week (best results on 2 classes per week)

 


Combined Men's & Women's Strength, Flexibility & Sports Conditioning Program

These strength classes for men and women are specially designed to maximize muscles and strength in older adults while buildingmobility and flexibility. Experience our new impact free, state of the art rower and exercise bike.

When: Tuesday 12.00-1.00 9 weeks from 13th July
Thursday 9.00-10.00, 9 weeks from 15th July
Cost: $100 for 1 class per week or $180 for 2 classes
per week (best results on 2 classes per week)

 


Yoga

General Hatha Yoga—An all encompassing course for beginners through to the more experienced. Focus is on positivity and wellbeing.

When: Wednesdays 10.30-11.45, 10 weeks from 14h July
Cost: $140 for course or $16 per session

 


Self Defence for Women

This course covers simple, highly effective principles of defensive and offensive tactics and the use of every day items as counter-offensive weapons. Demonstrations, explanations and group practice with no prior experience necessary. This course is taught by Raoul Kent Chief Instructor of the Kentokan Martial Arts Schools and he has multiple black belt rankings in Judo, Ju Jitsu and Karate.

Egyptian Belly Dance

Classical Egyptian Belly dancing, known as Baladi, is a dance everyone can do and have fun with. No props, no choreography, just authentic Egyptian style dance. All ages and levels welcome.
Tutor: Nemo Cahill
When: Fridays 10:00-11:00, 10 weeks starting 16th July
Cost: $15 per session

 


Line Dancing

Easy beginners line dancing and boot scooting. A fun and social evening.
Where: Trentham Sports Ground
When: Mondays 7.00-9.00pm

Peace Meditation

There are many ways of meditating: eastern, western, traditional, contemporary, to take time to be fully present. One meditates to relax, to be healed, to gain insight, to make a difference, to focus on peace, ourselves, family, community and beyond.
