Learn basic Vietnamese in a practical environment from a tutor with over 40 years experience in the Vietnamese language. Also learn about Vietnamese culture & society. The course will culminate with a field trip to Footscray where you will have a chance to put your new language skills to the test whilst visiting Vietnamese shops and market stalls

Ever wanted to write a Movie Script? Now you can. Let Kate take you on a beginners course on how to write the film script of your dreams. Learn character development, plot points, emotional arcs and what make s a good script great. Kate has a BA in Professional Writing and a Masters in Creative Media(Script Writing).

Storytelling Group for Adults
Whether its Irish legends, tall stories, family history, shaggy dog stories, Chinese folk legends, Australian history or the bizarre contents of your imagination, if you can stand before an audience and speak, recite or sing a story for between 3 and 10 minutes come along to Trentham Storytellers once a month. If you don't want to tell a story come along and listen.

Digital SLR Photography-Basic
This hands-on workshop is specifically designed to help enthusiastic photographers understand the basic technical aspects of photography so they can get the most from their digital SLR camera. Ideal for people who want to learn which settings to use in a wide range of situations. The session includes a mix of theory in the classroom and practical instruction touching on photo manipulation as well as capture. Participants will have the opportunity to shoot photographs, as well as review and discuss their images. Bring along your camera, instruction manual, USB cable and lunch.

Learn to Prune(fruit trees, berries and vines)
This 4 hour one-day session will start at Trentham Railway Station with theory, then move to a pruning demonstration. Finally you will prune under encouraging supervision. Gael Shannon is a lifelong pruner. Bring your own secateurs and lunch. Wear warm clothes, garden shoes and gloves, and a wind/waterproof coat. Do you have trees that you would like us to work on?.
