This group is a 90 minute informal & interactive session. The group examines diverse subjects & material, from international and national events/news, to Victorian and local issues, celebrity, social justice & contemporary issues of social & digital media & technology, society, culture & lifestyle, including specific issues raised by members. The group will be conducted as a joint venture between Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre and U3A. Enrolments will be limited. The group is moderated by Frank Page and will run for 3 weeks of each month.

Central Highlands Goat Club Inc
Everything from A to Z about goats, goat keeping, and goat products. The how, what, and why of ‘A Supermarket from a Goat’: milk, yoghurt, kefir, cheese, soap, cosmetic products, meat, fertiliser, mulch and more. A goat can be an important part of a sustainable life, supporting vegie and fruit growing, egg production and much more. You don’t need to have a goat to join in. Novices and old-timers very welcome. Come and share knowledge, interest, questions, contacts and produce.

The second oldest horticultural society in Victoria, this friendly group meets monthly to share information and knowledge. Activities include guest speakers, visits to interesting gardens and nurseries, raffles and more. New members always welcome.

Knitting and Craft Group
Bring along your knitting, craft or crochet project and share skills over a cuppa. This group is friendly and informal and meets each week at DNC. No need to enrol – just come along. New members welcome.

The incredible creativity of our Knitters group, it was such a lovely surprise to walk into the kitchen and find the new member of the knitters group I simply had to take a photo.
Join this friendly, active group and explore local bushland areas. Walks are generally about three hours
duration, and range from easy to hard. It helps to be reasonably fit and healthy. A program of walks, including level of difficulty, is available from DNC. Bring a drink bottle and wear weather appropriate clothing.
