Bushwalking Group

Join this friendly, active group and explore local bushland areas. Walks are generally about three hours duration and range from easy to hard. It helps to be reasonably fit and healthy. A program of walks including level of difficulty is available from the Centre. Bring a drink bottle and wear weather appropriate clothing.

Daylesford & District Horticultural Society Inc.

The second oldest Horticultural Society in Victoria, this friendly group meets monthly to share information and knowledge. Activities include guest speakers, visits to interesting gardens and nurseries, raffles and more. New members always welcome.

Knitting and Craft Group

Bring along your knitting, craft or crochet project and share skills over a cuppa. This group is friendly and informal and meets each week at the Centre. No need to enrol just come along.

Crochet

Learn to crochet and read patterns or bring along your work in progress. Materials are provided for beginners including many and varied patterns for all levels of expertise. Come along for inspiration, sharing and company. Crochet is a joint activity between U3A and the Centre.

Central Highlands Goat Club Inc

Everything from A to Z about goats, goat keeping, and goat products. The How, What, & Why of ‘A Supermarket from a Goat’: milk, yoghurt, kefir, cheese, soap, cosmetic products, meat, fertiliser, mulch and more. A goat can be an important part of a sustainable life, supporting vegie and fruit growing, egg production and much more. You don't need to have a goat to join in. Novices and old-timers very welcome. Come and share knowledge, interest, questions, contacts and produce.
