This course covers everything you need to know to develop your computer skills and will cover all the basics to get you started using a computer and the Internet with an introduction to word processing.

Learn to Buy and Sell Online

Discover the exciting world of e-commerce. Whether you want to buy or sell valuables, junk or one-off handmade creations, there are dozens of websites to help you do this. From Ebay to Etsy to PayPal, this class will guide you through the ways of transacting safely over the Internet. Participants require an email address and password.

Template Based Web Creation

A template based website can be a great way to get your site live with minimal costs. With templates by RV Site Builder, you can create a simple site and make it live in this short 2 day course. Topics covered include registering a domain name, setting up hosting, using c-panel, planning site content (images and text), preparing images, launching your site and making it live! Good computer skills are required.

Please bring along a credit/debit/key card if you want to make your site live (online setup costs: $45 for a personal .com site for 12 months or $135 for business sites).
