The Clunes Neighbourhood House is a locally managed, not-for-profit community learning centre providing quality adult education opportunities for life long learning.
We strive to reflect the needs of the community to which we belong. We provide the opportunity for everyone to participate in learning not necessarily "to get a job" but to enrich their lives through finding out about the things that we need or just want to know. We provide a social connection for people who may not otherwise have local connections within the community and a safe comfortable learning environment close to home. We also work with many other organisations to provide access to other services.
We invite you to call in and have chat about the programs we provide or you would like us to provide.
Our Team
Clunes Neighbourhood House Inc. is an Incorporated Association managed by a local Community based Committee of Management employing a paid Coordinator and small team of staff. An integral part of our operations depends on our wonderful volunteers who assist and support many of our activities including the production of our Term Progammes, the Community Newsletter and Clunes Phone book. They also make a major contribution to many of the day to day operations of the organisation.
Membership
As an Incorporated Association we welcome community membership. Being a member enables you to attend quarterly meetings and also to become a member of the Committee. We are always keen for participation from the community to reflect the needs of the community of which we are a part.
Clunes Neighbourhood House has introduced new training courses in Level I and II Food Safety. Find out how easy it is to study right there on your own computer or use our computer lab.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest for a Men's Shed in Clunes. Please visit the News and Events page to find out more.

Enrolment
If you have a skill that you would like to share with others we would like to hear from you.
At the Clunes Neighbourhood House we are always looking to expand our programmes. Many of our classes are run by skilled volunteers who want to share a talent, hobby or experience.
Call us today if you would like to run a group or class.
We also offer pre-accredited classes run by paid tutors so if you have professional skills and have an idea for a future class we'd like to hear from you as well.
We want your ideas
If you have an idea for a course or activity you would like to see run at your Community House let us know.
Planning is underway for our next term programme so we would welcome any ideas or suggestions.
